Three-jaw chucks are designed to automatically center round or hexagonal parts.
The chucks provide the quickest and easiest way of holding work in the lathe.
In the normal position, they take up from 2 to 38 mm diameter stock with the jaws respectively between 2 and 30 mm.
The reversed jaws provide a gripping range up to 70 mm respectively 56 mm.
